Privacy policy

At Lisolí, your privacy is important to us. We treat your personal information with the same care and consideration that goes into everything we create. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit our website or shop with us, and it is written to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish data protection law.

Who we are

Lisolí is operated by Lisolí AB, registered in Sweden under organization number 559559-8896 , with its registered address at Lidnersgatan 12A, 112 53, Stockholm. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at contact@lisolí.com

The information we collect

When you place an order or get in touch with us, we may collect personal details such as your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and order history. Payment is handled by our payment providers, Stripe (which also processes payments made via Apple Pay and Google Pay) and PayPal, who each act as controller of your payment card, banking, or account details — we do not collect or store this information ourselves. When you visit our website, we may also collect limited technical information such as your browser type, IP address, and the pages you view, to help us understand how our site is used and to improve it over time. We only collect information when it is necessary and always with a clear purpose.

How we use your information

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, communicate with you about your purchase or enquiries, provide customer support, and handle any returns or complaints. This processing is necessary to fulfil our contract with you when you place an order, and we rely on this contractual basis for handling your order details, arranging shipping, and providing invoices or order confirmations. Where we retain order and payment records for accounting purposes, we do so because we are legally required to. We also have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud, keeping our records in order to handle any returns or complaints, and understanding how our website is used so that we can improve it over time, and we rely on this legitimate interest where the law allows.

If you choose to sign up for our newsletter or otherwise agree to receive marketing from us, we will use your email address to send you updates about our products, new collections, or promotions. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

We only use your data in ways that feel relevant, respectful, and expected, and we never use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Sharing your information

We never sell your personal information. Your data is shared with trusted third parties only when necessary to run our business and fulfil your order — for example, our payment providers Stripe (including payments made through Apple Pay, and Google Pay) and PayPal, our shipping partner DHL, and the platform that powers our online store, Wix. These providers only receive the information they need to carry out their specific service and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, for example in response to a lawful request from an authority.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU or EEA. Where this happens, we ensure it takes place under an approved safeguard, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or a valid adequacy decision covering that country. You're welcome to contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards in place.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to make sure it functions properly and, where you have given your consent, to help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Cookies that are necessary for the site to work, such as remembering what's in your shopping cart, do not require your consent. Cookies used for analytics or marketing purposes are only set once you have given consent through our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time through your cookie preferences, available via the cookie settings icon on our website. Some cookies may also be set by third-party services we use, such as analytics or payment providers. You can manage or disable cookies more generally through your browser settings if you prefer.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Order and invoice information is generally kept for seven years to comply with Swedish accounting requirements. If you've signed up for our newsletter, we keep your email address for marketing purposes until you unsubscribe or until 2 years of inactivity. Technical and browsing data collected via cookies is kept only for as long as set out in our cookie settings.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections or updates, ask for your data to be deleted, and object to any processing based on our legitimate interest, including for direct marketing. You also have the right to request a copy of your data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time where our processing is based on consent. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local data protection authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully. To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us at contact@lisolí.com — we'll help you without fuss.

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information and keep it secure. While no system is entirely risk-free, we work carefully to safeguard your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

Children's privacy

Our website and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this policy

From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, our service providers, or legal requirements. Any updates will be published on this page, and we encourage you to review it occasionally.
